You dont have to look far to find some powder during the Whistler ski season!

One thing everybody can agree on about Canada is - it's BIG . And everything about it is big. Whistler and Blackcomb mountains are no exemption to this rule. Whistler is located in the Costal Mountain range of beautiful British Columbia. It's just a forty-five minute drive from the Pacific Ocean and an hour and a half drive from one of Canada's most thriving cities - Vancouver. Vancouver and Whistler are linked by the infamous Sea to Sky Highway (aka Hwy 99), which stretches from rocky shores and hidden inlets to soaring peaks and bowing valleys.

Whistler Village

After a stunning drive up the Sea to Sky highway you will close in on Whistler village. Whistler village is a picturesque postcard town, home to delicious restaurants with deep wine cellars, quaint shops and boutiques, and cozy hotels. But let's not forget the many apres locations and patio bars that line the base of the mountains.

At night the village once again comes alive with nightlife unrivaled by other resorts. With guests from all corners of the world, things often get a little wild. Check out our Night Life section for whats on offer!

Whistler/Blackcomb covers over 8 100 acres of skiable terrain and rises a mile over the valley floor. If you are just learning, been doing it a while, or are already a seasoned pro, Whistler/Blackcomb has it all. The average annual snowfall is 30ft!
If you ever get tired of riding the powder you can hit up one
of the many world renowned parks or pipes that Whistler/Blackcomb has to offer. If it’s natural terrain you’re after then try one of the 12 bowls - including three glaciers! Besides bowls, parks and pipes, Whistler/Blackcomb also offers perfect grooming on over 200 trails and there’s always powder to be found on the countless gladed runs.

On top of Whistler Mountain

The Daily Telegraph Newspaper reported that British travelers have once again voted Whistler as the best ski resort in the world. Perkins Miller, Editor-in-Chief of Skiing Magazine puts it into perspective: “With more than 11 square miles of skiable terrain, Whistler Blackcomb has something for every level of skier. No resort can match it for its great combination of hard skiing and hard partying.”
